One Bet at a Time

One Bet at a Time

One Bet at a Time

I would say that my walk as a gambler began long before I ever placed any chips on the felt. There has always been a deep-rooted desire to take the risk rather than fade out. I like to think it comes from fear of regret. I never want to look back and wonder what would have happened if I did roll those dice. I’ve always enjoyed dabbling in entrepreneurship, stocks and options, and giving people the benefit of the doubt. Some of the greatest things I’ve come to experience or earn have been from taking the odds on the underdog. I believe that everyone has to take a certain amount of risk in their life, I just enjoy dancing on the line of danger. Sometimes I think other people should take more risks, but this type of living isn’t for everyone. Different strokes for different folks.

It’s not about blowing everything on a hunch either. I think about the odds and likelihood of outcomes in order to determine the best place to put my money and time. I’ve run from blackjack to craps and ultimately ended up on poker. It’s the only game I’ve played where I can have the worst hand and still win. If you know how to pick your spots and manage your bankroll, you’ll be doing just fine. Like I said, this life isn’t for everyone but it always feels nice to have some company. Pull up a seat and let’s deal the cards. Good luck!
